Wool Quilt Batting

Your people did the impossible with the dye. Wow , the blackness is much deeper then even you thought it would be. I like this!!!! Now I must get to work at that quilt, no more excuses!!! I just opened the box and bag, you know touch and feel. I love it!!

Ada C., P.E.I - black queenie wool batt

Yes, I did receive your sample - it is a little bit of heaven - well at least a cloud. We live in a seniors community here and I took your sample to our quilting group. The ladies loved it.

Susan A., ON

I have been using the wool batting but as yet still have some, I love it and plan to order again in the future

Lamb, Beef, and Poultry

I had the first taste of it on Sunday. It was delicious

Wayne S., Chatham, ON

I am very pleased with the products I get from Cedarview Farms. I've been eating beef from Lauren's father, Sherman, for years and the quality is A+ . The meat looks and tastes like real meat. It reminds me of how meat was when I was a child. Isn't it a shame what they sell in stores these days! This past year I started receiving chickens and eggs and I'm delighted with both. You can tell from the taste that these have been fed well. As a cancer survivor, I was so pleased to find a source of "hormone free" meat, locally grown.

Mary B., Sarnia, ON

We purchased a lamb from you about 6-8 months ago, and we absolutely loved the flavour...

Winners of our 2011 Quilt Contest

1st Place - Kathy Hockings - Dundas, ON

"Floating"

Kathy wanted to make the squares to be floating so she turned them on point. The quilting shows the beaty of the wool loft found in our wool batting.

2nd Place - Dena Gerbrandt - Sherwood Park, AB

Petal Garden

Dena created this quilt for her daughter Mataya, and was inspired by the book "Material Obsessions". Dena states that she loves "the look of this, I love the idea that something really traditional can be made more modern simply through colour choice and stitch size." Dena hand quilted Petal Garden, hand bound and machine pieced and appliqued.

3rd Place - Sally Fitzgerald - Big Bend, WI

Winter Wooly

Sally hoped to make a warm quilt with Cedarview Wool batting to address those cold evenings in the chilly North. She used flannel which quilted up beautifully with no problems! She used her longarm machine, and is happy to report it keeps her toasty warm!

Congratulations to all our winners! We wish we could have rewarded every one of our wonderful entrants - simply beautiful work. We look forward to next years entries.
