The Van Ewyk Family

line

family

Ken and Lauren met in Prince Edward Island in 1996, and were married the following year in September of 1997. Lauren studied nursing while Ken finished his music eduation degree. Josiah came along a year later in September of 1998. In 2000 we moved to Northern Ontario (Red Lake) where Ken accepted his first teaching job. Many wonderful friendships were made there, and we still keep in contact. "Hi Ron, and Michelle, and the Fretz's". Emily was born in Red Lake in 2001, and the following year we moved to Winnipeg, MB. What an adventure!!! Lauren completed a science degree, and Ken taught full-time between three different schools, then later just between two: St. Adolphe, and Le Barriere Crossing. Micah followed in October of 2002, and after enjoying four wonderful years in Manitoba we felt it was finnally a good time to move back to Ontario - closer to family and purchase the farm we had wanted for years! So we moved back to southern Ontario only 20 minutes away from Lauren's parents, and 2000 kilometers closer to Ken's. We feel so blessed to live here, and are simply loving every moment of it!

We dedicate this farm to the Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is because of Christ, and His love for us that we are free to love life together. We hope to encourage every person we come in contact with, and spur them on to do great things for God.
